Sales Development Representative (part time)
Our team in Helsinki is growing and we are looking for a part time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our commercial team in Helsinki, where you will have a key role in identifying new opportunities and supporting our clients’ success. This is a junior level position, ideal for a person willing to learn about consultative sales and digital consulting besides their studies. You will gain a strong foundation for future career growth in sales, consulting, marketing or digital commerce.
In this role, you’ll use your knowledge in technology and business to drive our new business sales. Your responsibilities will include outbound contacting, contacting current and future customers, managing inbound leads, prospecting and assisting with proposal creation. We offer you the opportunity to develop your skills with potential career advancement in commercial or consulting roles. The role’s working hours can be adjusted to your convenience, but we would prefer you to work 2-4 days a week. The start date is flexible, with the latest start date being in August.
Responsibilities
Reaching out to leads via email, LinkedIn and phone to generate new business opportunities
Taking responsibility for lead management and nurturing
Systematically utilising modern sales technologies (especially CRM) and platforms to manage leads through the sales cycle
Achieving contacting and meeting targets
Detecting how to communicate IONA’s value and story to different stakeholders effectively
Requirements
You have some previous experience with sales (volunteer or job experience) – B2B sales experience is considered as a plus
You are interested in working and learning skills in sales, consulting and digital commerce
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Finnish and English
You have a process-oriented work manner and strong attention to detail
You have willingness and ability to take ownership of your work and collaborate well with others
Some previous experience or enthusiasm to work in a fast-growing company
Basic technical understanding of digital sales
