We're looking for an Solutions Architect (e-commerce) to bridge the gap between business vision and technical implementation in our expanding projects.

What is this role like?
In this role you'll work closely with our clients in a consultative role, providing technical leadership and expertise across our B2C and B2B2C e-commerce projects. Your role will be crucial in understanding client needs and translating business objectives into pragmatic, scalable technical solutions that drive real business value.

Internally, you'll be an important mentor for our globally distributed technical team, guiding and aligning their work towards common goals in client projects. You'll also have the opportunity to shape our technological direction and contribute to the growth of our service offerings, working alongside our sales team to develop compelling solutions for new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading architectural decisions for large-scale, public-facing e-commerce solutions

• Defining and refining solution architecture in alignment with business needs and technical implementation, while supporting sales efforts

• Ensuring technical excellence while mentoring team members across projects.

• Acting as a trusted technical advisor for stakeholders, effectively communicating and selling technical solutions

• Contributing to the company's growth by shaping service offerings, processes, and technology decisions

While our office is located in Helsinki, we offer flexible hybrid work arrangements. You'll have the freedom to work remotely while maintaining the ability to visit the office for team collaboration and meetings when needed.

The ideal candidate understands how to craft practical, business-driven solutions without compromising on technical excellence. Your ability to work consultatively with clients and guide technical teams will be critical to success in this role.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Solutions architect experience with enterprise-scale, public-facing projects

• Strong expertise in microservices architecture and headless frontend/backend solutions

• Experience in performance optimization and security in large-scale applications

• Technical leadership capabilities and pre-sales experience

• Strong communication and collaboration skills in both Finnish and English

• Ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders

Extra points if you have:

• Experience with specific e-commerce platforms like Commerce Tools.

• Familiarity with PIM systems, content management like Sanity/Contentful, and ERP integrations.

• Cloud platform expertise, particularly with database solutions.

• Mentorship and experience in team development
