What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Mobile Developer (React Native), you'll play a key role in our software development team, contributing to cutting-edge client projects and high-impact billable work. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining robust mobile applications and web services, with a strong emphasis on eCommerce solutions. Success in this role requires extensive experience building mobile solutions from scratch, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving technical challenges efficiently.

Your responsibilities

• Lead mobile development for new projects, focusing on designing, developing, and implementing React Native applications based on client specifications.

• Optimize and maintain existing applications to ensure top-notch performance and reliability.

• Conduct in-depth debugging and code reviews to ensure high-quality output.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across various environments, platforms, and devices.

• Mentor and train your co-developers in terms of mobile development, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create seamless, user-friendly experiences.

Who we’re looking for

• 5+ years of programming experience, including building and deploying scalable mobile applications using React Native.

• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (specifications, design, implementation, testing, and documentation).

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems effectively.

• Top-notch verbal and written communication skills in English to articulate ideas and collaborate across teams.

• Great time management and planning skills.

• Eager to stay updated on trends, frameworks, and tools relevant to mobile development.

• Familiarity with Flutter is a bonus, but React Native expertise is the primary focus.

• Enthusiastic about working with a diverse, international team.

Nice-to-have skills & qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of web development and has experience in using other languages and technologies we work with (i.e. Node.js/React.js/Vue.js, AWS, Contentful, Shopify)

• Understanding of security practices

• Team management experience

• Interest in enforcing and improving company best practices, standards and policies related to mobile development

• Skills and interest in project management, UX design or quality assurance

Preferably located in the Philippines.
